Privacy Policy

Who we are

PipeScope Lab operates https://pipescopelab.com. For privacy questions, contact hello@pipescopelab.com.

Before launch, complete this section with your registered business entity name, jurisdiction and mailing address.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to act on corrections. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) and, if analytics is enabled, aggregate usage data.

We do not collect payment information, account credentials or sensitive personal data. There are no user accounts on this site.

Cookies and analytics

This site itself sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

If web analytics is enabled, it may set first-party cookies to distinguish returning visits and measure aggregate traffic. This data is used only to understand which content is useful.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.

Affiliate links and third parties

When you click a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies and collect data according to its own privacy policy, over which we have no control. Our affiliate tag is appended to the link so Amazon can attribute a resulting purchase to us.

Because we publish no affiliate or retail tracking links, no retailer shares click or order data with us.

Amazon’s privacy notice governs what happens once you leave this site.

How we use information

  • To operate and secure the site
  • To reply to emails you send us
  • To understand in aggregate which content is useful
  • To meet legal obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Since we hold very little — essentially only emails you have sent us — such requests are usually straightforward.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.

To exercise any right, email hello@pipescopelab.com.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Material changes will be noted clearly.

Note

This policy is a working draft prepared for a US-based affiliate publisher. It is not legal advice. Have it reviewed against your actual data practices and the jurisdictions you operate in before launch.
