Found an error?

Please tell us — this is the most useful message we receive. Include the page URL, the statement you think is wrong, and what you believe is correct. A source helps but is not required.

Specification drift is a real problem in this category: manufacturers revise configurations without changing product names. If you received a product that did not match our description, that report is especially valuable.

Our corrections policy sets out what happens next.

Coverage suggestions

If there is a question we have not answered or a product category you would like covered, tell us. We prioritize by what people ask.

Our current expansion order is sewer cameras, then locators and sondes, then pipe inspection cameras, then borescopes and accessories.

For manufacturers and retailers

We are happy to receive corrected specification data, updated documentation and notice of configuration changes. That helps us keep guides accurate.

We do not accept paid placement, sponsored content or paid links, and we do not offer editorial input in exchange for products or access. Please do not send those enquiries — see our editorial policy.

What we cannot help with

We are not a retailer and cannot help with orders, shipping, returns or warranty claims. Contact the seller or manufacturer directly — they hold your order details and we do not.

We also cannot diagnose your drainage system remotely. Photographs and camera footage sent to us will not get a useful answer, because the questions that matter — pipe material, fall, age, what the rest of the run looks like — cannot be established from a clip. A licensed plumber who can see the property will serve you far better than we can.

We do not provide equipment repair support. If a camera head has flooded or a pushrod has kinked, the manufacturer is the right first call, and our professional camera guide explains why serviceability is worth checking before you buy instead of after.

Before you write to us about a product

Two things make a specification report immediately actionable, and both are quick:

  • The exact listing you bought from, since the same product name frequently covers several configurations.
  • The specification as delivered — measured camera head diameter, marked cable length, or the sonde frequency printed in the manual.

That combination lets us verify the change against the manufacturer documentation and update the affected guides. Without it we can usually only note that a discrepancy has been reported.

If you are writing to ask which camera to buy, our selection framework covers the decision in the order that eliminates options fastest — pipe diameter, then reach, then locating. It will almost certainly answer the question faster than we can by email.

Response times

We aim to acknowledge messages within a few business days. Correction reports affecting a published recommendation are prioritized over general enquiries.

We are a small team and would rather tell you that something is queued than commit to a response time we cannot meet.
